Take a minute and take a seat to learn how you can help make a difference with our 2019 - 2020 Annual Fund. The campaign to replace our students' desks and chairs continues with the Phase Two project of the TAKE A SEAT to Take a Stand for Education.  This endeavor represents a unique opportunity for our benefactors, school community, current families and businesses to give back to the school that has given so much to the community over the past seventy-nine years.

This effort provides an exciting balance between the aspects of the traditional classroom and the functionality of modern seating. Picture a variety of high, medium and low seating such as wobble stools, yoga balloons, stolls or a comfortable couch! Our teachers support our efforts to increase student participation and engagement.

"We have enhanced many facets of our academic, technology and science programs," states Principal Sister Linda. "This project is an extension of improving the classroom environment for our students." she explains. We pray that our school community concurs that our Annual Fund is an important component in providing a more dynamic and engaging academic environment for our children.

As funding allows, our Phase Two 2019 - 2020 goals are:

  •       Flexible seating and desks in classrooms
  •       Replacement of original classroom doors

We are pleased to announce that donations for PHASE ONE of this campaign totoal $23,236.00. We are very grateful for the support of our school community! To date, we have purchased group activity tables for first grade and replaced the Multi-Purpose Room folding chairs. Currently we are in the process of determining which classrooms have the greatest need of new desks and chairs.

Since our founding by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in 1941, Nazareth Academy Grade School has strengthened our mission in helping students grow spiritually, academically, socially and physically. We are proud of the efforts of all of our students, especially the Class of 2019 who earned $305,000.00 in scholarships to private secondary schools.  We are even more proud of our alumni who continue to make their mark in their communities in innumberable ways.  Your gift at any level supports our long-term goals, strenthens our faculty's efforts AND helps in our missiion to families and education

Donations in any amount to the Annual Fund will be greatly appreciated and can be made online here - or - checks can be mailed ATTN: Development Office. Our goal is to educate our student to be the best that they can be and the support of our school community enables us to achieve the overall quality of education to which we aspire.

Each year as we continue our work with the wonderful children of Nazareth Academy Grade School, we feel a renewed appreciation for everything that makes this school so vibrant and successful. Each year we build upon prior efforts of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth as we continue to grow and nurture our children. Please join us in ensuring that the Annual Fund continues to be part of the secure bedrock upon which NAGS will build its future.
