FUN FALL STEM PROJECTS

During the week of September 25th, our 7th graders tested their "Fall Fiasco" leaf collector prototypes they created in Technology class with Mrs. Bock. The students worked in groups to make a design that would pick up the most leaves in 1 minute using only plastic cups, plastic spoons, rubber bands, tape and straws!   Click here for photos!

Mrs. Merryman's second grade students are following the first floor monthly theme of "apples". After reading "Ten Apples Up on Top" by Dr. Suess, the class completed a fun & juicy STEM project that tested the students' five senses using six types of apples!  Click here for photos!

The 8th graders also tested their "Fall Fiasco" leaf collector prototypes they created in Technology class with Mrs. Bock. This project required the students to work in groups to make a design that would pick up the most leaves in 1 minute using only plastic cups, plastic spoons, rubber bands, tape and straws!  Click here for photos!
