Morning Arrival
Morning arrivals begin at 7:00 AM. From 7:15 AM through 7:45 AM students have access to free breakfast through the Nutritional Development Services (NDS). Students are expected to arrive by 7:50 AM to be dismissed from the multipurpose following morning prayers and announcements. Any student who arrives after 7:55 AM will be marked late. If regular lateness is observed, a meeting with the principal will be scheduled to discuss improved morning arrival strategies.
Dismissal
Our priority is to ensure that dismissal runs smoothly and, most importantly, that every child goes home safely. We ask all families to carefully review the guidelines and discuss them with your child so that everyone is clear on dismissal routines. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and efficient process for all students. Students should know how they are traveling home each day.
Walkers: Parents/guardians picking up walkers must meet their children in the back parking lot. Families must inform the school office if their child will be dismissed as a walker to ensure proper supervision. Parents/guardians should arrive by 2:40 PM to pick up their child.
Bus Riders: Students should know each day whether they are taking the bus or not. If you have any questions regarding bus routes, please contact the school office.
Car Riders: Parents/guardians picking up students by car may not park at Eden Hall, under the underpass, or on Holy Family University property. Cars may begin to enter the lot from Grant Avenue after dismissal of buses, which is typically around 2:45 PM. Display a clearly visible sign with your child’s last name in large, bold letters. Please keep the sign up until your child is safely in your car.
Students must be picked up promptly at dismissal. Additionally, all students must be picked up on time from sports, clubs, and afterschool activities; repeated late pickups may result in loss of participation in these programs.
