CLASS OF 2019 SCHOLARSHIPS

 Congratulations to members of the Class of 2019
in earning over $305,000.00 in scholarships!
 
 
Gianna Aregnano was awarded the Founders Academic Scholarship to attend Mount Saint Joseph Academy in the amount of $7,500 per year for four years.  Gianna was offered an Academic Excellence Scholarship to attend Nazareth Academy High School in the amount of $7,500 per year for four years.
 
Justice Bronzell was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $3,000 per year for four years to attend Archbishop Ryan High School.  
 
Joseph Connor was awarded a $7,500 Presidential Scholarship per year for four years to attend Holy Ghost Preparatory School. Joseph was selected as a Maguire Scholar, a program that supports and enriches the leaders of tomorrow. The Maguire Foundation will provide Joseph a $6,500 scholarship each year at Holy Ghost Preparatory School.
 
Grace Driscoll was awarded the Faculty Award to attend Nazareth Academy High School in the amount of $1,000 per year for four years.
 
Molly Gretzula was awarded an Academic Achievement Scholarship by Nazareth Academy High School in the amount of $5,000 per year for four years.
 
Matthew Huot was awarded a half tuition Trustee Scholarship per year for four years to attend Holy Ghost Preparatory School.
 
Isabella Mancino was awarded the Faculty Award to attend Nazareth Academy High School in the amount of $1,000 per year for four years. 
 
Erin Murray was offered a $4,500 scholarship per year for four years by Saint Basil Academy.  Nazareth Academy High School awarded Erin an Academic Achievement Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 per year for four years.
 
Gabrielle Tobler was offered a $2,500 scholarship per year for four years by St. Hubert Catholic High School. Saint Basil Academy offered Gabrielle a scholarship in the amount of $1,500 per year for four years. Nazareth Academy High School awarded Gabrielle an Academic Achievement Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 per year for four years.
 
Elizabeth Unger was awarded an Academic Excellence Scholarship to attend Nazareth Academy High School in the amount of $7,500 per year for four years. 
 
 
We are proud to announce that since 2001,
our graduates have been granted $3.85 Million in high school scholarships and grants. 
 
 
 
SPECIAL AWARDS 
 
 The Nazareth Academy Grade School Parent Association awards a grant to two graduates who have achieved the highest and second highest grade point average through sixth, seventh and the first two trimesters of eighth grade. The 2019 recipients of these grants are: Gabrielle Tobler and Elizabeth Unger
 

To be eligible for the President’s Award for Academic Excellence students must maintain a grade point average of 90 or above in grades 6, 7, and 8th grade, as well as high achievement in the areas of reading and mathematics in the 6th and 7th grade Terra Nova tests.  The students who merit this award are: Gianna Aregnano, Joseph Connor, Grace Ann Driscoll, Molly Gretzula, Matthew Huot, Erin Murray, Laura Tereshko, Gabrielle Tobler, Elizabeth Unger, and Grace Vendetta. 

The Nazareth Academy Grade School Academic Excellence Award is presented to those students who have maintained an average of 94% or above as an average in their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years as well as high achievement in the areas of reading and mathematics in the 6th and 7th grade Terra Nova tests.  These students are: Joseph Connor,  Molly Gretzula, Matthew Huot, Gabrielle Tobler, and Elizabeth Unger

The Principal’s Award: Grace Elizabeth Vendetta.  

The Blessed Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd Award: Gabrielle Tobler and Callie Walker

The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Award: Matthew Huot and Erin Murray. 

The Citizenship Award: Ireland Neals and Laura Tereshko

The Faculty Award: Justice Bronzell and Isabella Mancino

The Ali Award: Molly Gretzula

The Phillip and Mary Gaughan Memorial Award: Callie Walker

The Grace Stinson Memorial Award: Erin Murray.  

The Jennifer Culp Roman Memorial Award: Molly Gretzula and Elizabeth Unger

The Make a Difference Award: Elizabeth Unger

The Sara LaSalle-Tarantin Memorial Award: Robert Hewitt 

The Father Bob Votta Memorial Award for Excellence in Spanish: Elizabeth Unger

 The Believe in Yourself Performing Arts Award: Grace Vendetta

The Kathleen Smith Memorial Award for Excellence in Forensics: Matthew Huot. 

Jennifer Gampico Memorial Award: Gianna Aregnano

The Daniel Trotter Memorial Award for Music: Grace Driscoll

The Regina Coeli Award: Elizabeth Unger
